BAFTA Rising Star Mia McKenna-Bruce (How To Have SexPersuasion) will lead the cast as ‘Bundle’ a young, determined sleuth in The Seven Dials Mystery, the new Agatha Christie series for Netflix.

Mia said:Chris Chibnall’s scripts are brilliant, and I am thrilled to be part of this new interpretation of the iconic Agatha Christie’s storytelling.”

Joining Mia will be Helena Bonham Carter (One Life, Nolly) as Lady Caterham and Martin Freeman (The Responder and Black Panther) as Battle.

The Seven Dials Mystery is penned by Broadchurch creator Chris Chibnall (BroadchurchDoctor Who) executive produced by The Crown executive producer Suzanne Mackie through her company Orchid Pictures and Chris Sussman (Good Omens). Chris Sweeney (The TouristBack to Life) will direct.

England. 1925. At a lavish country house party, a practical joke appears to have gone horribly, murderously wrong. It will be up to the unlikeliest of sleuths – the fizzingly inquisitive Lady Eileen ‘Bundle’ Brent – to unravel a chilling plot that will change her life, cracking wide open the country house mystery.

A witty, epic and fast-paced drama from the Queen Of Crime, Agatha Christie, is brought to life in a thrilling new version for Netflix.

The Seven Dials Mystery is the first series to go into production with Orchid Pictures and will begin filming this summer.

Chris Chibnall will executive produce the show through his company Imaginary Friends and James Prichard of Agatha Christie Limited is also an executive producer on the series. Andy Stebbing is on board as an Executive Producer and Joanna Crow continues as the Series Producer
